HEY THERE,
My name is Lindsey, and I’ve been taking pictures since I can remember and have spent the majority of my free time shooting adventures, close friends, families, and beautiful weddings.
I love getting to know new people and I can almost promise you I will end up tearing up over a sweet moment at least once during a session. My goal in every session is to have fun, make you feel comfortable, and find a way to capture sweet, silly, and tender moments. My absolute favorite images are usually not so posed, but rather those special moments where you authentically look genuinely happy.
As far as who I am behind the camera, to be completely honest, I’m just a bit of a goof ball. I tend to drop things, trip over my own feet, and forget my sunglasses on top of my head on the daily. I love to make people laugh, and you’ll almost always find me holding a cup of coffee, my camera, or my precious daughter Hazel Jane.
I am not only a photographer but I am also a graphic designer and textile artist! I have worked full time in graphic design and I use it with all of my passion projects including this very website. I also have an Art major and emphasis in both photography and textiles. I LOVE fiber art.
I’ve always found beauty in close details – in nature, a quick smile between friends, a subtle tear being wiped away – little moments. For this reason I’m hopelessly in love with hiking and basically any kind of outdoor time. When the sun peaks between trees on a trail, when the lighting subtly changes, when a breeze passes filled with the smell of a wild flowers, or when I approach the sound of any water source – I feel home. I love to take pictures outside, its easily the best lighting, but mostly it’s my element, especially if near some form of water.
My entire life I’ve been passionate to learn new things and I especially relish in what makes everyone happy in life. If I could get to know you for even a brief window of time, learn what makes you smile, and share moments together, I think that is just about the greatest part of life.
